Blurb

They say opposites attract.
In my world that isn’t a good thing.
I did everything I could to escape the motorcycle club I grew up in when I turned twenty-one.
It wasn’t about fear, or betrayal, or even lack of love.
I just needed my own life.
I had to know how it felt to stand on my own two feet without their protection.
Then I met Diesel.
Mysterious, dark, with eyes that screamed to be understood.
From the second I met him, I knew I needed to be in his life.
There’s just one problem – he’s a member of a different motorcycle club.
Two things that should never be combined.
Yet I can’t stay away. No matter how hard he pushes. I can see beyond his mask.
I need to know who he is and I’ll overcome any obstacle to be in his life.
A friendship is born, followed by an epic love.
Our relationship is forbidden.
But I’ll do anything to be in his life.
Anything.

BETUL'S REVIEW

**Received ARC in exchange for an honest review**

"...you see something in me that no one else does, and I'm fuckin' tired of denying what's in front of me."

After reading Pandemonium I was really curious about Mercedes and how her story would play out. What I loved about this book is how polar opposites Diesel and Mercedes were. Their first meeting didn't go well, the same can be said about the next couple of meetings. Merc is attracted to Diesel and is relentless, she doesn't let him get away from her. Diesel was very mysterious, he pushes Merc away and acts like an asshole. However Merc sees right through his popular, though guy act. She sees through the wall he build around him. Merc made it clear that she and Diesel would be the bestest friends and eventually Diesel can't resist her anymore. Eventually Merc gets Diesel out of his dark broody shell.

"I'd defy every person in my life for him, because he needs me, and more than that- I need him."

Both characters were in my opinion amazing, Merc is this very happy and funny girl who is treasured by her family. Diesel is this moody guy who acts like he doesn't care about anyone or anything. But there is so much going on in his mind and it was just awesome to see how Merc could get to him. Have him open up to her and show her his real face. It was also amazing to see all the previous characters from both the Jokers' Wrath MC and Hell’s Knights MC. I really miss them and I loved reading and see what they all were up to.

The writing like always is great, the pace of the story was done well. There wasn't a moment I was bored or wanted to skip pages. The character development was really good. Especially that of Diesel, I loved that he resisted as long as he did. It added another dimension to the story. Bella Jewel is one of my favorite author and I always get excited when she releases a new book. I can't wait for the next book in this series to release.
