By Sin I rise: Part Two continues and concludes Marcella Vitiello and Maddox White's story. You need to read part one before you can start this one. I didn't enjoy this book as much as I did part one. It was okay and I was invested in the relationship of Marcella and Maddox, but there just wasn't enough suspense/action in the story. I did enjoy seeing their relationship develop but things felt rushed at times. I personally needed for Marcella and Maddox to spend more time together.
Also it felt like Maddox had to give the most up to be with Marcella. However, I still think that these two made a great couple, I was just wanted something extra to elevate the story. Even if I didn't love it I still enjoyed the story. Furthermore, I loved seeing what my favorite characters from Cora Reilly's previous books were up to, so it was great seeing them make appearances in this book. I look forward to the next book in this series.
