Twisted Cravings focuses on the youngest Falcone brother Adamo. If you have read the previous books in this series then you have seen him grow up and go through a lot. I was looking forward to his story, and I was pleasantly surprised with the premise. The setting was original and created a great atmosphere. In a lot of mafia romances the heroine is a bit meek and innocent, which I enjoy from time to time, but I also find it refreshing when the woman is independent and strong. Dinara Mikhailov was a great character and I loved her right away. She wasn't afraid to go toe to toe with Adamo and gave back as much as she received. I thought they were a great match and I loved the progression of their relationship. They both have demons that haunt them, but together they were able to fight those. Especially Dinara went through some heartbreaking and horrific things in the past.
Twisted Cravings is the last book in the chronicles if I am not mistaken, and it's bittersweet because I hate saying goodbye to characters I have spent time with. All the characters in this series were unique in their own way, and I loved that they always had each others' backs. It wasn't always an easy journey, in fact it was mostly a difficult road they all had to take. But in the end it all came together and I enjoyed reading the parts where the whole family was together. I really hope the kids of all the main characters in this series will get their own book, because I am not ready to say goodbye to them. I enjoyed Adamo and Dinara's story a lot and the writing was great like always. I don't read that many Mafia romances as I did before, but I can't resist Cora Reilly's books. I look forward to seeing what she will come up with next.
