A HIGH OCTANE THRILL RIDE FROM USA TODAY BESTSELLER, CD REISS

***You do NOT need to read Songs of Submission to read Spin***

Mafia capo, Antonio Spinelli blew through my orderly life like a cyclone.

Gorgeous and passionate, with a breathtaking brutality, he put me under his spell the moment he touched me, drawing me into his underworld of risk, violence and betrayal.

And I found, just as this sophisticated savage didn’t trust me, I didn’t trust myself. Something happened to me. Some alchemy from the heat between us.

I discovered I was a savage, too.

BETUL'S REVIEW

"I want you, and I'm going to have you. That's it."

I was in the mood for a mafia romance and decided to give the Corruption series a try. I am glad I did because it hooked me right away. I love the story so much and the characters are imperfectly perfect in this book. It did take me a chapter or two to get use to the writing style in this book but after that I didn't have any problems. The author has created a very interesting story that has a very great flow. There was no dull moment in this book and it fit perfectly together.

"Amore mio, I'll break you with my love and put you back together."

I adore both main characters Theresa and Antonio. Both of them are so different but do have characteristics that match. I enjoyed how their relationship developed and I just couldn't get enough. I LOVE Antonio, he is such an alpha male and is rough and very protective. He is just my type of guy. Theresa is a very strong female and I love that she is in her mid 30s and ACTS her age. I had enough of immature TSTL characters that annoy me. Theresa is the exact opposite she is independent, knows what she wants and goes after it. She is pretty badass! Theresa and Antonio are perfect for each other.

"God help me, every time I walk away from you, I only see hell in front of me."

There was a moment where Antonio pushes Theresa back to protect himself and her but she doesn't agree with his decision and goes after her man. I loved that she did that. It really shows that she has self confidence. It was very refreshing to read a female character act like that. I have very high hopes for the rest of the series.

About the Author

cd reiss new bio.jpgCD Reiss is a USA Today and Amazon bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up, she’s at the well, hauling buckets. Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere, but it did embed TV story structure in her head well enough for her to take a big risk on a TV series structured erotic series called Songs of Submission. It’s about a kinky billionaire hung up on his ex-wife, an ingenue singer with a wisecracking mouth; art, music and sin in the city of Los Angeles.

Critics have dubbed the books “poetic,” “literary,” and “hauntingly atmospheric,” which is flattering enough for her to put it in a bio, but embarrassing enough for her not to tell her husband, or he might think she’s some sort of braggart who’s too good to give the toilets a once-over every couple of weeks or chop a cord of wood.

If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
