Blog Tour + Review: Deep Redemption by Tillie Cole

He was born to ascend.
He was destined to lead.
He was never meant to fail.

Prophet Cain lies broken and defeated on the floor of his cell. A cell he has been thrown into by the one person who was supposed to stand by his side until the end. His flesh and blood, his only companion. His beloved twin brother.

Cain has sacrificed everything for his people. He left the safety and security of his life of study to infiltrate the infamous Hades Hangmen. He lived with them, rode with them, and then betrayed them. All in the name of a faith he can now feel slipping away from him. Like everything else he once held dear…

But then his isolation is broken. Another prisoner is brought to the cell next to his. A woman fighting her own demons and fears. A woman who Cain understands needs him, as he needs her.

As the connection between them grows, so does Cain’s resolve. He will right the wrongs he has done. He will atone for the evil acts carried out in his name. He will save the one he loves…

… Even if the battle takes him to the gates of hell itself.

Contemporary Dark Romance. Contains explicit sexual situations, violence, sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language, and mature topics. Recommended for age 18 years and up.

"He was an eternal outcast. Never belonging in either world that he had walked in."

The Hades Hangmen series is one of my all time favorites. Every book in the series is heartbreaking and beautiful and Deep Redemption is no exception. There were a lot of people who didn't like Cain/Rider, but I always saw someone who needed redeeming. It was obvious to me that he was broken and in war with himself and in this book you will read just how broken he is.

"You are good. You may have sinned in your past, but you are redeeming yourself now."

Deep Redemption was one of my most anticipated reads of the year. I am always anxious to get my hands on any book by Tillie Cole. This book was another unique addition to the series and it had me feeling a thousand different things. I won't mention who the leading lady is in this book because I want you to experience everything first hand. I want you to go in blind and go through everything that I went through and feel everything I felt. I do want to mention that this book heroine is my favorite in the series so far. She was so strong and brave, I just loved everything about her.

There were multiple plot twists that I didn't see coming and they fit perfectly in this book. I cried, laughed, was sad, angry and happy while I was reading this book. A couple of scenes were so heartbreaking that I just couldn't control my tears.

"You have been the only good I've ever known. You've been the heaven I was searching for after all. Not the faith, or the prayers...just you...only you."

The writing was phenomenal, the plot was one of a kind and the characters were not your typical ones. Tillie has created such unique characters who keep on surprising me with their actions. A couple of my favorite characters made me mad in this book, but they are the way they are and I just have to accept them like that. I loved reading how the couples from the previous books were doing, It was like coming home! I can't wait for the next book to release.
