June Mayson and Evan Barrister’s whirlwind courtship resulted in a secret marriage right before he left for boot camp. Evan knows deep in his gut that June is too good for him, but after getting a taste of the beautiful life they can have together, he’s unwilling to let her go. June promises to wait for him, knowing neither time or distance will ever change her feelings for Evan—that is until she’s served with divorce papers while he’s overseas and she’s forced to let him go.

Her marriage and divorce a well-kept secret, the last person June expects to run into when she moves back to her hometown is Evan. Angry over the past, she does everything within her power to ignore the pull she feels whenever he is near. But how can she ignore the pain she sees every time their eyes meet? How can she fight the need to soothe him even if she knows she’s liable to get hurt once again?
Is it possible for June and Evan to find their way back to each other again? Or will they be stopped by an outside force before they ever have a shot?

He’s beautiful his body is a work of art I want to touch him, I want to know what It feels like to have his bearded face against my delicate skin, I want to know if the rough edges I now see are smooth to the touch.
“June.” My name in his course tone gets my attention but when our eyes meet its not anger he’s looking at me with, its raw, powerful, hungry possessiveness.

"You have always, always been good enough for me. I fell in love with you- all of you- not just one piece of you that I thought was perfect. There was never a time I didn't love you."

I am a huge fan of Aurora's books and I think she writes the best alpha males. Until June is another great addition to her Until world. This book is low on drama and high on sexiness. For me this was a somewhat light contemporary romance where two characters get a second chance at love. I am a sucker for second chance romances and I thought Until June fit the bill perfectly. The story had a great pace and there wasn't a moment I was bored and wanted to skip pages.

"I know it doesn't make sense, but if it were possible for someone else to have your heart inside of their body, I know he would be carrying mine around."

I felt bad for both June and Evan, from the moment they met there was such a strong attraction between them. They got married in secret and later June is being served with divorce papers. I had no idea why Evan did that to June, because everything was going great between them. I don't like it when characters make these rash decisions without explaining why! It is one of my book pet peeves, and I wish that Evan at least contacted her and had the balls to serve the papers himself. He owed her an explanation. The author did a great job by not dragging the issue on longer than it was needed and that left the floor wide open for great character development. I really enjoyed seeing June and Evan come together and become stronger as both individuals and as a couple. For me that is one of the most important elements in a second chance romance.

Overall this was a solid romance book with very interesting characters. I also loved seeing the characters from the previous books make an appearance. It makes me miss them and want to reread their books. There are still enough Until kids and I can't wait for the author to write their stories!
